Different Roads

We’re parting now for different roads,
And we will be apart.
I cannot bear the thought of you,
So distant from my heart.

I think about the things we’ve shared,
The friendship and the time;
And wonder if our memories
Can stand the test of time.

The sun, the moon, and all the stars
Watch over both our hearts.
